"Mongolian painting" which started from rock cave paintings has been carrying the unique culture of the nomads and herders during its development over many centuries. The national painting, which is a mirror of its society and history, has been enriched with new materials, methods, and themes in addition to the traditions of the past, and now it has formed a new style. It stands out from the paintings of any nation due to its pattern and flat shape.
All of this is evidenced by the works of the older, middle and younger artists of the 20th century, which are presented in two basic designs: "Tig" (centered) and "Zadgai" (free). It will be a wonderful presentation of the "Mongolian picture" that can tell.
People's artist N. Tsultem believed that Mongolian art cannot be measured only by the tanka image of God. He began the great task of researching the cultural heritage of the nomadic states that existed throughout the history of Mongolia, before the time before the image of God entered Mongolia. At that time, folk artist N. Tsultem, while consulting with scientist B. Renchin, coined the term "Mongolian painting" for the first time.
It is inspired by the works of artists who made a valuable contribution to bringing the innovative approaches of Western modern art expression to the soil of Mongolian painting, and brought the development of Mongolian painting to a new level.
